The Hotel "Staribacher" is located at the gateway to the South Styrian wine country on the outskirts of the town of Leibnitz and is the ideal destination for your journey of discovery into the picturesque hill country. The family charm of the hotel offers a feel-good atmosphere for gourmets in our à la carte restaurant, as well as for those seeking relaxation in the middle of the countryside. The natural garden terrace in the restaurant is a special highlight of the house. An indoor pool with sauna and steam bath are your personal little kingdom to switch off and relax. From here, you can discover the beauty of South Styria while hiking, biking, golfing or walking. There are several wine taverns in the immediate vicinity that are definitely worth a visit. The center of Leibnitz is 2.5 km away and offers numerous shops and cafés. The South Styrian Wine Route can be reached in around 25 minutes by car. Here, one well-known winery follows the other and invites you to a culinary tour of pleasure. You will be happy to receive an overview map of South Styria at reception.

You will stay in a classic double room (30 m²) with a French balcony/not for sitting, air conditioning, minibar and comfortable country-style room furnishings. Separate bathroom and toilet. All rooms face south with a view of the landscape park.

In our in-house à la carte restaurant you can enjoy delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere from Tuesday to Saturday. Traditional, upscale cuisine with a modern interpretation and served with passion.
The kitchen team conjures up delights for you from regional products combined with creative cooking. Our cuisine is honest & genuine, handmade & local. You should definitely stop by here and let yourself be pampered.

Right next to the hotel is the "Grottenhof Visitor Center" with a gourmet shop including a wine shop and numerous events related to music & culture. In the inner courtyard of the Grottenhof (5 minutes walk away) there is also a professional e-bike rental for bike enthusiasts. You are welcome to lock and charge your own e-bike in our in-house bicycle garage. By the way, the 4 hectare landscape park directly in front of the hotel is perfect for a relaxing walk, e.g. after a regional breakfast.

Would you like to stroll through the state capital Graz? You can reach the magical old town in about 40 minutes by car.
