Indoor brine pool

The OptimaMed Health Resort St. Josef is home to Austria's first indoor brine pool. The salt water in the 10 x 15 meter pool is heated to a pleasant 31 degrees and is particularly helpful for skin and respiratory problems. But brine is also recommended for joint problems - the salt water literally lets you float.

Spiritual atmosphere

As a former monastery, the house has a very special spiritual atmosphere. In 1959 - based on the idea of ​​the famous spa guest Clemens Holzmeister - an in-house chapel was built. With the colorful glass windows by the Salzburg painter Prof. Karl Weiser, the chapel is considered an architectural jewel. The large mural of St. Francis of Assisi by Karl Weiser in the coffee house and bar area of ​​the house also contribute to its very own character. Other works of art that decorate the house include the late expressionist Marian stele by Bernhard Prähauser.
